also you can provide gift cards, or gift codes you could give to him
as well under there.

Hey Mike, that does help and that is actually a rather interesting
idea. I saw the gift option, but was not sure exactly how that
worked. An interesting idea indeed and it might just come in handy.
Ah, yes, I can see some ideas already in the making.

hi;
an idea, why don't you set up an account for him, and then give him
an allowance every so often? Find this under gifts on the itunes
main homepage. It will take say $20 a month and put it into his
account as credit.
That's just an idea.
Also what you want to do will work for your information, if you
back them up onto dvd and move them to his computer, or if you have
them networked he can just "open" them from your computero n his
computer witch will ask him for the first time to enter your apple
id and password. After he or you do this once, then it will copy
the video to his itunes folder in music,
I hope this helps a bit.

Folks, my kid wants to purchase a movie or possibly some TV shows.
Of course at 11 years old he doesn't have an iTunes account nor
will I provide credit card info for him. :)
So if I purchase the content for him, I know I can play it on up
to five machines. I'm assuming I could back the content up to a
DVD and load it on his machine and authorize it? Has anyone done
this and have any thoughts? I don't want to purchase anything
until I know there won't be any problems moving it.
