I'd really suggest that you sell 'Open Office' t-shirts as a way for you 
to generate donations. So add like an extra $10 or $20 onto the back of 
the price of the t-shirt. This has two benefits ...
1. People are more willing to donate money as they get a little something 
back in return - as well as supporting a great software product.
2. People wear the t-shirts and your software product gets advertisement 
... for free

Let me know if you decide to do it, or if you've already implemented the 
idea and I've just missed it.
The Apache organisation does the same thing - I never claimed
