Actually it did ask already before the file was opened: FileType listbox
in the file open dialog. Select "Text CSV". Seems that isn't a very
prominant place for this particular problem though, or too complicated,
and the meaning of selecting a filter there in this case should be
pointed out better. And no, currently text files aren't scanned and
interpreted to determine possible filters.
