It looks as if Novell is planning a big splash around OOo 2.0 with their next SuSE Linux release:

So next time that we get frustrated with each other let's remember our successes, too. Of course, we can always do better, and of course we want to be as flexible as possible, but this is some good stuff!

This is a Great Truth. I myself have got frustrated by some things in 2.0, as you may have read here. But only within this community, I understand that these newsgroups are for discussing, not only for praying OOo virtues.
Doors out, I will we supporting 2.0 when released, advocating for it and promoting its use by my peers. And using it to the extreme.
Long live to OOo 2.0!
