That's pure nonsense and near to FUD. We get a lot of patches not done in Java and integrate them. On the contrary, it was mentioned several times that the OOo developers are very interested in non-Java replacements for Java based OOo code and if community developers provided them they would be accepted (and integrated) gratefully. But of course the quality demands are the same as for the "regular" OOo code.
