They really only have Word and Wordpad

Wordpad is so that they can say that a basic machine comes with enough
to do basic things. You then buy MS Office if you want a proper set of
productivity tools. Its all down to marketing.

Most people don't use most of the features. Certainly not me, but I do
need more than is provided by Wordpad.
