The again to be honest we still havent have a 'stable' implementation of the native database format into the OpenOffice.org GUI.
Also MySQL products lack things that Access has like 'Views', while Oracle and PostgreSQL have stored process that are not supported by the GUI. Access is also a very unique database since they don't manage Unix dates so their time format is just shared with MS SQL Server, every other database has the standard YYYY-MM-DD which also cause some problems I was testing the UI and I also found a very basic incompatibility with the MySQL database which is the 'Limit' option. this is a very basic command which I found surprisingly missing when running it on the UI of the db. I do want to ask more people to beta test the OOoBase specially if they have the resources to have an Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Lite/Firebird database. -- Alexandro Colorado Co-Leader of OpenOffice.org Spanish http://es.openoffice.org/ Mensaje citado por Daniel Carrera <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > bealach wrote: > > > However if the PC World review of Oo2 beta is right the database is very > > much like M$ Access which PC World claims is not very good and users > > don't like it very much. > > This is very vague.
