I recently installed the beta version of 2.0 on a computer at work
(English version of OpnOf on Japanese W-XP) and have been happily using
it, but before I installed the beta version, I attempted to install
1.1.4. I was unable to, however, due to the directly turning into
garbled computer code in the install. In years past, I've often seen
this happen with Japanese versions of software (not OpnOf BTW) when
attempting to install them on computers running English OS, but this is
the first time I've ever had an English software application that had
its directories turned into garbled junk when installing it on J-OS.
How in the word does this happen? Until now at least, J-OS has never
had a problem in reading the English alphabet.... Remember that there
was no problem when installing the Beta version.... wait... I think I
installed the Japanese version of the beta version. So, does this mean
that it's impossible (by design?) to install the English language
version on a W-box running W-XP?
