SC it is not a good idea to email people directly when you want information on projects - it is a MUCH better idea to use the infrastructure provided and use the relevant mailing lists of the relevant projects. If you are looking for the Impress mailing lists then check out : http://projects.openoffice.org/accepted.html following the link to the relevant project and their "Mailing list" link. Also do not forget that you cannot demand features to be implemented.
