Hi Reg,

The answer to your first question is on the OOo knowledgebase at
the link http://mindmeld.cybersite.com.au. Search for thesaurus and
it will provide a method of enabling a thesaurus for non-US English
installs of OpenOffice.org.

As to your second problem, I cannot see why the Danish module would
not be able to be removed except for two possibilities:

1. The dictionary is inherent to the working of the software. That is,
you are using a Danish localised version of OOo and it is attached
   to the default styles.

2. Maybe a permissions problem with the dictionaries on your install.

Regards
Jonathon

Jonathon's direction to the mindmeld site was very usefel. I have now
activated the thesaurus for my UK English install of OOo. It works, but I
have noticed that some of the meanings and synonyms are American spellings
rather than British, e.g. hue = color; respect = honor. I have already
changed the language of my program to UK English. The spell checker works
in UK English. Is there a way to resolve this?

Thank you,

Paul Brown
