I was trying to get into our database (it's an ODBC) and Base crashed
:-( That's bad.
Have you filed an issue? I realize that filing issues is not fun. But
it's the only way that these reports won't slip through the cracks.

I have convinced the INL (Idaho National Laboratories, a government
facility) to concider OO.o for their new standard office software when
their Microsoft liscenses expire.

However, one of their major hang ups is
that your pdf exportation doesnt allow for enbeddable fonts, and that your
font selection is a little weak... and they wanted to be
able to expand on your fonts, or have you include more (since too many
arent smart enough to know how to bring in a font).
Have you pointed out FontOOo? Go to File > Wizards > Install Fonts
FontOOo will install fonts from the web, or from a local file.
You can also have your favourite fonts added to the FontOOo servers
(assuming that this is legal). To do that, contact Laurent Godard
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). A while I wanted the Toga font but it wasn't
available in FontOOo. I asked Laurent and he added it in the next update.
As for embedding fonts in PDF files, I don't think the current beta does
that yet. But it's definitely something people would like.

thought that you might like to add that (sounds like an easy addition),
A lot of fonts (like Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman) are free to
download for personal use, but are not legal to distribute. So we can't
put them in OOo proper. But we can give you a font installer wizard that
downloads them for you. Hence, FontOOo.
and then you'll be able to swing at least my boss...thank you guys so
much! i love OO.o!
