I downloaded the Windows installer and tried to run it. This is what it
yielded:

Output folder: C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org1.1.4\program
Extract: WriterPerfect.uno.zip... 100%
Extract: libglib-2.0-0.dll... 100%
Extract: libgobject-2.0-0.dll... 100%
Extract: intl.dll... 100%
Extract: iconv.dll... 100%
Registering the package WriterPerfect.uno.zip ...

Make sure that no instance of OpenOffice.org is running!

As you can see, the installation failed. Open Office was not running at
the time.

    Suggestions?

If you would like to use the version of OpenOffice.org you already
have, (to avoid another long download), and you'd like to continue to
use a stable version - (the beta is very buggy) - you can download
WordPerfect filters from the following website:

http://libwpd.sourceforge.net/download.html

What you are looking for is called "WriterPerfect".
