Hi folks, sorry i haven't posted in a while. But I do have good news. Together with Steve Hargadon of TechnologyRescue and a couple of folks from the BayArea, we have put a thin client network in a school in one of the 9 bay area counties. Ms is watching this list, so I don't wanna say where. But of course, OOo will be the office suite used. It's Fedora core 3.
Here is Steve Hargadon's site: http://www.technologyrescue.com/welcome.html Also, Steve has come up with a great idea for using Damn Small Linux with Firefox as open source kiosks for Hurricane Katrina victims. He has built up a small army overnight to help him with that task. You can find his site here: http://www.PublicWebStations.com I hope you all are well. I'm so excited about 2.0, which should be coming out soon, no? Christian Einfeldt 415-351-1300
