Like Giuseppe, you assume attributes are "added" the the language tag. It is not so. In the current UI, and the UI Giuseppe proposes, language is just one attribute. It will be changed just like bold, font or any other style attribute. I'd have no problems with his proposal if it was indeed only "adding" on language, if language "influenced" presentation or any of the many other way this has been expressed in the thread. But the truth is the separation which is expressed in your words and in Giuseppe's does not exist in his proposal. You're both relying on the fact people should be careful. People aren't careful in real life. You have to give them tools that do not permit behaviour you know beforehand is stupid and dangerous. Regards, -- Nicolas Mailhot
