The point is not that he is wrong or that most people disagree with him.
The point is that his behaviour is rude, disruptive and antagonistic.
Seemingly it is all on purpose. Many of the arguments seem just that,
arguments for the sake of argument apparently in disregard to his own
earlier statements. Marco documented that very well.
It's a behavioral problem. Period. Many, if not all have been patient,
and even tried to help him along. Entity Chad itself claims to be very
bright, so the only conclusion we can draw from the behavior is that it is
intentional. But it has gone on too long and now the moderators need to
address the problem directly.
Andrew Brown has offered to assume the role of devil's advocate here. So
you needn't worry about the political movemnt not having its views
represented here. I expect Andrew could continue his method of polite,
articulate discourse even in his new role, should he choose to adopt it.
Or you, yourself, may even step politely into the role.
This is a mailing list. All we have are words. Different views and
eventual disagreement are part of the process. So are misspellings and
grammatical errors. Consistent, long-term rudeness and antagonism and
personal verbal attacks are not.
