Um, ever heard of a book called "The Road Ahead" by a Mr. Bill Gates? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0670772895/103-8464735-9745452?v=glance&n=283155 It was published in November of 1995, and is all about how the Internet is the wave of the future and how it is vitally important. While he may have said that it was a fad, (and your source provides no exact quotes, nor any collaborating sources for that claim), he obviously didn't feel that way very strongly for very long. -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ - Because everyone loves free software!
