He mainly brings a lot of noise. I doubt anyone is too worried about people bringing constructive criticism to the debate but what we need is solutions to problems rather than identifying the same old things ad nauseam with no strategies to improve the situation. > If MSO is faster We all know MSO loads faster and mostly the reasons why. Fixing this is not trivial and there is going to be a trade off between some aspects of speed and other issues like having a non-binary format. > or provides a different interface that works better, > then it is nice that these are pointed out. Propose a solution that is likely to be workable rather than just highlighting the problem since this has been debated endlessly and won't get anywhere by just debating it further. > Sure Chad is annoying but even in his own way he brings issues to the > front. He does not need to do it by calling people morons and generally acting in an anti-social way. I think there are plenty of people who have raised most of these issues in a polite way well before Mr Smith even joined the lists. > If you don't like Chad's comments, then filter them. I think most of us have but without putting a general filter on everything that contains Chad or Smith, we still get noise from the peripheral replies to him. Like this. Ok, I'm contributing to it too but only because I hope good sense will prevail and post about him can be reduced to an absolute minimum or moved to social.
