Instructions would be of little use. Envelope printing has always been one of OOo's weakest points. I have produced a pdf illustration http://home.iprimus.com.au/bmcs1/envprint.pdf of a "by-the-book" procedure for producing a DL envelope and it consistently fails to print the addressee. Strange, because OOo prints everything else to near perfection. FWIW the pdf illustrations were produced on a Linux (SuSE 9.3) box, but the result is the same with W2K. The best way to put forward suggestion (rfe) is to search issuezilla http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html and vote for the issue/rfe or add a new issue/rfe if it doesn't already exist.
