Hi all:

I do some software work, but am mainly in electronics. Recently
I've been trying to become a published writer.

I use openoffice spreadsheets for my budget. Very nice.

I have been using LaTeX for the past two years for all of my writing.
I really enjoy using it and have written one book, and two novellas
using this format. However, the rest of the world seems to want .doc
or .rtf files before they can read it. (I've had some success with PDF.)

Is there any way to include importers in OpenOffice so that either
.dvi or .pdf files can be read then exported as .doc? This is an
important part of an office application for me. As it is, I can read
other's work in .doc, but nobody can read my stuff.

Any advice or help will be appreciated. (I'm aware of the
obvious---write everything using openoffice in the first place, but
that doesn't solve the problem.)

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dale E. Edmons
