Do you or does anyone else know how I have to weigth this point in comparing with MsO?

I think the closest that I have heard of is something called SharePoint
from memory. This apparently is some method of sharing between
MS applications (I believe), but I have not looked at the MS side of
things in great detail.

Ms has Infopath. But that's not in its office.

How you could give ideas of XForms importance? Well, it is tied in
very closely to web services architecture as mention, which includes
implemented sites such as Google, Yahoo, news sites, IBM, Sun
Microsystems and the list continues for big corporates who are
taking up this model of doing business. That is, everything becomes
sharable through a standard interface definition to the web (assuming
you have permission of course :)

I am aware of this. Is it much better in OOo than in MsO?
