Please go to http://www.openoffice.org and click on the green button in the middle of the page. There you'll find links for different version, that you can download. When you're on the "main page" you can see there a better description, what OpenOffice.org is, what it contains and what not. The FAQ, you've alreay read is "only" for people, who have some problems with the software, whose can be resolved easily.
