Hello,
I am developping an application that heavily rely on
microsoft Excel at the moment that we are exporting to
IRAN and other countries under american embargo.
The problem is that exporting american software
(Excel), to IRAN is prohibited by american laws, so
the idea is to use OpenOffice instead.
My questions are:
Is OpenOffice american? or is it 'countryfree'?
Does it really have to abide by american laws?
Is exporting OpenOffice (or other opensource software)
to IRAN restricted in any way?
