Is there any work being done in conjunction with openoffice draw to use
network discovery
in order to diagram networks? Similary to that of Visio.....?
It is possible to use Draw for diagrams, but it isn't designed for that
purpose in the same sense that Visio is.
Two programs you may want to have a look at:
Dia (for Windows and Linux)
http://www.gnome.org/projects/dia/
Kivio (for Linux)
http://www.koffice.org/kivio/
I think I remember hearing some time ago that someone converted the Dia
graphics library into OpenOffice.org format. I don't have a link for it,
though.
