Minus the language, I posted about this a week ago in the
Questions newsgroup. No reply. Just now, for instance, I pasted
text with some spacer graphics into Writer. All four instances of
Writer are hung up, lost their internal window display, for five
minutes now. It is completely unconscionable. I was getting to
the point of pasting first into a text editor to clean up remote
file calls, then recopying/pasting into Writer. But that's not
acceptable.

I just got my display back. Why on earth does it take OO so long
to digest remote images?
