Hi

We have been using the Open Office software at our training centres for
supporting our 16 - 19 yrs students but have found a slight problem with
the Impress presentation application.

We run OCR CLAIT courses as part of our student development programmes
and one of the options is to use presentations. These options are only a
level one status but are tested to OCR curriculum standards. One of
these requirements is to set headers, footers and print whilst using the
outline view, but unfortunately impress doesn't allow for this feature.
The footer can be set in normal view but cannot be printed as part of
the outline view. In Microsoft's offering, you would select file: print
and then choose outline view. Selecting the preview option enables you
to view this setting before printing. This meets '4e' and '4h' of the
OCR CLAIT course requirements.

As part of the OCR curriculum requirement I feel this was worthwhile
bringing to your attention because it means the Open-Office cannot be
used in this ICT academic environment.

Could you please advise if there are any possible solutions available?

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Kind regards
