ah, well it looks like I have been preempted, I was really just asking about the possiblility of such extensibiltiy, and it clearly is already very possible. Would it then be possible to hotplug a module by a third party after installation? It's a shame then that we haven't seen this being used by all sorts of projects, to extend OOo in all sorts of groovy ways, hmm, maybe there's a bit more of a barrier then it seems, or Maybe it's just not as "cool" to write such extensions to an office app as it is for a Browser :\
