Alternatively allow a much easier way of turning of the help agent, or toning it down/turning it off at the users request, although a user will generally not bother to look in the options menu.
I think 1: give a little text message inside the help agent for the subject of the pop-up atm it's not alway clear why it's appeared 2: Provide a way to turn of the help agent without going into options 3: perhaps make the help agent more subtle, so it can only be seen if the user is looking for it. Smart tags might provide a better way of providing contextual help for when something is auto-corrected though On 21/02/07, Uwe Fischer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi, please have a look at http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Help_Agent Some users don't like the Help Agent. We don't get a lot of positive feedback at all, therefore I don't know if poor Help Agent has some friends somewhere. What do you think: - do we still need the Help Agent? - should Help Agent be reduced in size or converted to a text message in the status bar?
