I am surprised your download-via-P2P page does not offer eD2K (eDonkey/eMule) download links, and I think it would be beneficial if your site supported them.
Unlike metatags and other packages, which require downloading of data in addition to the desired files, eD2K links require only the markup necessary to provide the eMule user the file hash defined by the link. The browser clicking on this link and the eMule or compatible application associated with the link will do all the work. This includes the exploiting of sources on the eD2K server and KAD networks and/or sources available elsewhere (ie: files on your servers, FTPs, mirrors, etc.) eD2K links permit you to define your own web files as sources, or to simply provide the hash of the file by itself, forcing the client to seek sources from the eD2k server and KAD networks alone (You'll likely find that every file you offer is already available on these networks). Considering it just takes a bit of markup, I cant see how you can refuse this avenue of distribution. The millions of eMule users would welcome it. Thank you. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
