In the next OpenOffice, I would appreciate the option of assigning keyboard shortcuts to special characters. I am far more productive with this feature. Also, (A HUGE PROBLEM) it would be EXTREMELY helpful if you allow odd (or even) numbering. I really hate fighting the word processor to get odd numbering. I also assume it is hard for people in school who have odd numbers on their homework. If you make these changes, I will finally have a word processor that is better than M$ Word. THANK YOU!
Hello You can assign special characters to keyboard shortcuts if you first make a macro that types the character, then assign this macro to a key combination. What do you mean by odd numbers in this case?
