Yes, I forgot to add this: Calc behaves like Draw/Impress (accessing printer while saving) but *additionally* accesses the printer when the file is modified. > I also tried storing to "Excel" ".xml" files. I think most problems in this area will vanish in OOo2.3. We also plan to add an option to ignore printer settings in documents completely but I'm unsure whether we can implement this until feature deadline for 2.3.
