Hello,

Just wondering, in a future version of Open Office Writer, is there any chance of a function similar to MS Word's 'Auto-correct'? You know, like if I accidentally type 'teh' instead of 'the' it'll automatically correct it, and I can add words for it to recognise and correct for me? I have an annoying habit of typing 'becasue' instead of 'because' and I added it to my autocorrect list when I used to use MSWord and it saved me lots of time. Of course, I could just learn to type, but you know how lazy folks can be!

Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Writer has this function now, to access it go to tools, then you will see autocorrect. the example, changing teh to the is there right now, and it is easy to add corrections of your own. Nearly every important feature of Microsoft Office is already in OpenOffice.org, sometimes they just are not exactly in the same places.
