My first time here - be gentle

I have received a .ppt file. In it, there are some numbered lists.

They are not numbered sequentially but sometimes numbered with
sequential odd numbers (1, 3, 5, etc.). Sometimes the numbers jump by
random amounts (1, 2, 5, 7, 8).

When I view this file using PowerPoint, the numbers are all sequentially
correct (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.)

The file was created using PowerPoint. Possibly with Office 2007.

Hello tech,

I had the same bad experience a couple of times and at least in my
experience this was down to the poor organization of the person who prepared
the presentation in the first place.

The only thing I could do was to select the frame, then format > default
formatting; select all the text and click the bullets and numbering icon to
apply numbering. Then a little work on the levels (tab and shift+tab) and it
was all sorted.

Cheers,

Michele
