Hello: I am a new user with open office. I am acustomed to using Microsoft word.
I would like to change the page set up, defaults, but when I change the margins, it just pops right back there to the orginal settings the next time I come in. Also, I would like to turn off the automatic numbering, when I am creating a list of questions, etc. when I hit enter, it automatically enters the next number, and that messes me all up. I am living in Japan, and I would like to be able to use open office as opposed to Microsoft, if possible, but so far it's taking twice as long to create a document. Someone please help.
