I understand your not wanting to deal with Bit Torrent :-)
I just downloaded 2.3 by going to http://www.openoffice.org, clicking on the big green 'get openoffice.org' box, then on a big green 'Download OpenOffice.org' box, then on 'Windows', then on a big green 'continue to download' box. It then downloaded a 122-Mbyte file.
Does that not happen for you?
Hello, I just got your newsletter about the release of version 2.3. I have been using version 2.2 and like it quite a lot. When I downloaded that version, it was a straight download. Now I can only download using Bit Torrent -- whatever that is. I did download the Open Office file but it will not install without a Bit Torrent program. I don't have the time to learn how to use another program and am not interested in doing so. Is there anywhere I can download OpenOffice version 2.3 without using the Bit Torrent method? Thank you.
