assist. When I change the font color, the font remains black until I
print
the document or preview the document before printing. I still use MS
products because I don't have to go thru extra steps to view my
documents in
my color coding schemes.
OpenOffice.org does normally work the way you wish.
You must have inadvertently turned on an accessibility feature to assist
colour blind people. You can turn it back off by selecting Tools / Options
from the menu, and clicking on "Accessibility". Untick the option that
says "Use automatic font color for screen display".
