What a great first post! Welcome.

I'm afraid your suspicions are correct. You see, the OpenOffice team has
indeed been infiltrated by Microsoft employees, myself being one of them
( pay no attention to my signature ). I suggested not long ago that we
fart around with available download options in an attempt to line the
pockets of Billy G. What I didn't expect, though, was that some people
would actually miss the fact that there are still traditional download
methods available. Brilliant!
