Hi all,
I am using OO.o 2.2 and was trying to make a template for a newsletter
in Draw when I found that I couldn't link text boxes.
I would also like to point out several things that could be improved:
1. Styles and themes are actually needed (I am willing to make themes
and styles)
2. creating custom colours for backgrounds of pages and cells (in
Calc) could come in handy
3. adding tables to a text box
4. It would be nice to show the text box when it is empty
5. When you have vertical text, a newline starts under and not next
to the text
Other not so critical improvements:
1. The Charts should be improved
2. The borders of shapes can and should be improved with the next
release.
3. OpenOffice should at least try to import the new version of Word's
file, because it is just a group of files that is zipped. (But
Writer needs to support Microsoft's features)
4. Styles and Formatting window could maybe show the text in it's style
5. It would be nice if the text was rendered like MS Word
6. Why does the default page in Base open to "Forms" and not
"Tables"? Is there a reason?
Design improvements:
1. the layout can be improved (J.S. Martin's sketches
[http://josmar52789.googlepages.com/thebasicdesign], are good but
maybe the most commonly used tools should be visible all the
time?) (I would like to try and design something)

PS:
I don't know if I am doing this right, but I dont really understand your
website's layout (maybe I am too lazy!). I just want to be able to post
every now and again some improvements that could be done.
