Dear Sir or Madam:
I like using open office because it's free. However, openoffice is only limited
to the computer. Lately there have been some PMP (portable media player) coming
out which allow users to take videos, pictures, and music on the go. People now
can carry the Archos, Cowon, or other PMPs and enjoy their media while on a
long trip. Please check out www.cowonamerica.com to see what I mean, and
archos.com (http://www.archos.com/products/gen_5/index.html?country=global〈=en)
I would like to suggest that openoffice is used on these PMPs so that users can
not only view their emails, but view documents (word, excel, powerpoint, and
access), not with ms office, but with your open source software. Also I would
suggest that your group of people to contact Archos, Cowon, and any other PMP
makers to persuade them to use open office and not Microsoft. This way, your
software goes beyond the limit of the computer.
I hope this will benefit your company, and I'm looking forward to see openword,
openxcel, and other softwares soon on the PMPs.
Thank you for your time,
Peter
