Hi,

Here are a few suggestions that, in my humble opinion, could help improve
OpenOffice Writer.

1. Being able to click between the bottom margins of one page and the
top margins of another to hide the blank space between the two would be
nice, especially in long documents.
2. It is not currently possible to move a selection of bullets left or right
simultaneously by pushing shift+tab; it is only possible to move them one at a
time. The "promote/demote all" buttons took me a long time to find.
3. For improving and enlarging the "Standard" spell-check, would it be possible
to have the following system: users' changes/additions are uploaded to the
OpenOffice.org project site and counted for popularity. After a certain number
of independent additions/edits, it would be added to the Standard dictionary
file available from OpenOffice in following updates. This would work on a
similar principle as WordCaptcha - you'd need a minimum number of contributions
from a variety of users to add a word to the list - so that a small number of
users couldn't jeopardize the file, whether intentionally or unintentionally
(spelling errors). The same thing could be done for AutoCorrect.
4. Double-clicking on the rulers on the top and left of the document to change
margins would be great.
Overall, thank you for the project!
