Today I downloaded and installed OO 2.4.0 on my Windows XP Home edition pc.
The first time I checked all the boxes concerning which files to open
automatically with OO.
The following surprise was very nasty: EACH exe-file I tried to run was
opened by sWriter.exe.
No matter how it was started, it was opened in sWriter.exe.
FUN?? Not quite, I costed me several hours to solve.
Finally being able to get my PC to a previous point of recovery, I took
a long breath and installed OO 2.4 agian with no boxes checked. That
gave no further trouble. The computer functions normally.
