I am the owner of a pressure sensitive label manufacturer/retailer

writer program like you have done for Avery templates. Please get
back to me with any information.
Jim,
"Standard" templates (documents with a .ott (Open Text Template)suffix)
are simply stored and accessed via the menu system, whereas the
"incorporated" ones to which I believe you allude, are generated on the
fly from a descriptor within an XML file and are frame based.
From a quick look at your web site it seems that you already offer
templates in MS Word format and these are readily usable in
OpenOffice.org, which can read and write in a multiplicity of formats.
If you wished to offer them specifically for OpenOffice.org, then a
batch conversion from .doc to .ott would be the quickest route.
To achieve incorporation in the File>New>Labels methodology you would
probably have to make a case to the developers.
I hope that this helps.
