I am from south africa, and openoffice downloaded with a java application which 
got installed when i downloaded update version for itunes to support my Nano 
ipod.Why did that happen?
 
What is openoffice IMC plan? (Integrated marketing plan)
 
Does openoffice have divions/ offices globally? 
 
Even though word of mouth and e-commerce marketing is powerful i dont think its 
enough. 
 
This may seem really far fetched or silly but since south africa is a emerging 
market, targeting private institutions to use your package is a idea, students 
will be able to spread information quicker and faster to friends, family and 
peers. This will not only increase WOM, but also help the company to better its 
product. 
 
Small business enterprises and entrepreneurs look for packages like open 
office, this is advantageous as it reduces their expense on purchasing 
Microsoft office and their vista updates.
 
Having a design week, like a competition to increase awareness, but the design 
must be made using openoffice, this will allow all ages to compete and have 
some interaction with the programme.
 
Have computer institutions to support your product. 
 
Interact with other forms of entertainment and launch programmes.
 
Now with the convergence of technology, your product must be able to support 
mobile (htc,iphone,blackberry). for proffesionals/ working men and women.
