Being commercial closed source software, you would need to approach the Endnote developers and request this same functionality for OOo (OpenOffice.org). You may wish to take a look at Zotero http://www.zotero.org This is a cross platform FOSS (Free Open Source Software) which is available as an extension for the Firefox web browser and OOo.
