I think this is the pane that appears on the right hand side of the MS
Office window when you copy/paste more than one thing. Personally,
I find it very irritating. For instance (at work where I cannot change
things) I have an Excel input sheet which takes up the whole screen.
Sometimes I want to copy stuff from the lefthand side of the sheet to
another document. When I copy a second item, this clipboard pane
pops up and pushes the lefthand side of the sheet off the screen. I
then have to close the pane and scroll the lefthand part of the sheet
back into view. Very irritating! I hope OOo never does it!

Also I wish this idea of suggesting that people do or arrange to have
the programming done themselves could be banned. Sure, you can
spell out the facts of life that in the FOSS world resources are limited,
but there are mechanisms for promoting new ideas, and these are
what we should be telling people about. Anyone who posts on this list
who says 'I am a user of ... and I would like to see ... in OOo' is
unlikely to be a skilled programmer. So you won't make any friends
for OOo by telling them to go and program it themselves.
