How about quoting how much one will pay, if they move in today, and
not moved into it several years ago.

Back in 2000, a friend of mine called that "poverty level".   I'm not
sure how, but it was cheaper to rent in Greenwich, CT, and commute
than live in New York City. (For those that aren't familair with
Greenwich, CT, I'll point out that houses in their ghetto sell for
over US$10^7.)
