I'm forever scrolling up and down through a document to review what I or one
of my staff have written in one section of my report in order to ensure
references back through the document are correct, modifying a one sentence
to strengthen a later argument, or double checking the contents of an
earlier figure, etc. Quite simply, the scrolling is annoying, its easy to
lose your place where you are currently editing and if you are absent minded
like me can also lose your train of thought.

My proposed solution: being able to view and edit the same document from
multiple windows, i.e. why not be able to have a window open showing page 5
and another showing page 23 at the same time and be able to edit the
document from either window? This would be a huge productivity booster,
both for preparing and reviewing documents.
