I have given literally thousands of hours of lectures ad presentations lasting from as little as 1 hour to as much as 8 hours per day, 5 days per week for 6 consecutive weeks. As a rule of thumb 5 minutes per slide has worked out well for me.

There are 53 slides in the presentation we were asked to review filled with about as much text as can fit on each one and still be legible. 53 slides based on my experience would work out to enough slides for a 4.5 hour presentation. Did you plan to take that much time? You may be able to go through them faster, but it doesn't mean your audience can absorb them faster than about 5 minutes per slide.

Rule of thumb - The mind can retain what the seat can endure.
