Michael,

When you finish school (and hopefully long before then) you should realize that almost everything you write that isn't for a teacher or professor will be to get someone to take an action. Outside of school telling people stuff so they will understand is a waste of time. You want people to do something, or to stop doing something, but it is more important that they take an action i.e. do something than that they understand all the ramifications, etc. etc.

It looks like you have presented just about every 'fact' you dig up. But I don't know why? Not all of those points are of utility for every audience. I think you need to pick those 'facts' that are relevant to your audience and only those facts and I think you need to state at the onset why you are telling me all this?

One final point when you write remember, 'Don't tell me. Show me.'
