Hi Kevin, we never started implementing IA2 since IBM promised to contribute their IA2 implementations (Lotus Symphony is based on OOo) back to OOo.
It's been a while that they promised it, but we never received something usable right now, because Symphony is still based on OOo 1.1, and they would need to bring IA2 to OOo 3 code line. I hope this will finally happen, as Michael Karasick promised this end of last year at the OOoCon in Bejing. http://blogs.sun.com/malte/entry/iaccessible2_or_ibm_to_contribute Actually, IA2 was derived from OOo's Accessibility API (UAA): http://blogs.sun.com/malte/entry/ibm_has_announced_iaccessible2 Malte.
