Funny. I had the volume turned down....I?can't be any clearer than that except
to come over to your place and show you.?
Actually, it's a good thing to keep your volume turned down...ya never know
what folks might say.

Sounds like you're on top of things procedure-wise. However, just to be sure,
the keystroke and click sequence had been inquired about. Such as:

I inserted the cursor into the document, used CTRL+A to select all...then used
the Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V, etc. Programs vary a little now and then with how they
respond to some sequences, and I have bumped into a program capturing only one
page before when it seemed it should have captured about 9 yards. In such
cases, I never found a "reason" per se, but did typically find a work-around
that captured it all. Seems that sometimes it has to do with the origin of the
text prior to its being placed in the document.

You're welcome to come over though. We're having a workshop locally this coming
Monday through Friday with school kids, but it's the kind of workshop that's
equally designed for youth and adults. At any rate, good luck with your OO
problem.

Doug

Seriously though, folks, it's a flustrating ordeal.?
I don't pretend to be an OOo pro but I've been around for a bit and
cut/copy/paste seems to be a standard across many computers. Which is to say,
you use CTL (Control) -X for cut, CTL-C for copy and CTL-V for paste, and the
computer will copy text, cut (delete) it if it's not read-only, and paste,
again if it's not read-only.?
So what I did was copy the text from the web page, and pasted it into OOo
Writer. Unfortunately, Writer only seems to acknowledge the first page.?

LOL! I haven't encountered this with any other program except maybe Notepad
which is notoriously limited.?

I can't be any clearer than that except to come over to your place and show
you.?
